From 2019 to 2021…
I achieved a Master’s Degree in Human-Computer Interaction from Indiana University.
Over the course of this two year program, I developed a strong foundation in user experience design and research.
My capstone project showcases my collaborative and detailed approach to prototyping user interfaces.
During a team project I did for the homeless population, I realized I had an inquisitive and empathetic mindset which became central to my user research process.
From 2021 to today…
I have worked as a UX Researcher at the HR and benefits company Alight Solutions.
Under the mentorship of Dr. Brad Poole, I grew tremendously in my ability to lead cross-functional user research studies.
For instance, I recently planned and executed an iterative, rapid-cycle research project which supported the successful launch of an AI driven claim automation solution.
One of my favorite aspects about my job has been the variety of skills and experiences.
Last year, I spearheaded a mixed methods research project which shaped the Alight Worklife® app integration for Microsoft Teams.
My work has impacted every corner of the business.
I also conducted user research which informed the design of Alight’s annual enrollment flow, AI chat experience, financial and health services, personalized email campaigns, website navigation, mobile app features, and more…
The truth is, my career is just getting started, and I can’t wait to see what I get to do next!
